…love this collection from Jonathan Saunders. Pretty-pretty frocks with textured woolens strike just the right balance of raw and polished, naughty and nice. The delicious pops of mouth-watering colour — watermelon, raspberry, peach — are elegantly grounded by Saunders’ deftness of touch; the colour shots are here and there, in a ribbon, in a trim, or diffused through an intricately-textured fabric that complicates the blast of a bold shade. With all the romance of that time of the night you stick a chunky cardigan over your party frock to keep off the late chill in a summer garden, there’s a lot to linger over.
